As you would expect, our Store Managers have overall operational management of their designated store and are responsible for delivering the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), both people management and people development, maintaining and further developing the high store merchandising standards as well as delivering and reinforcing our well known brand values to our customers
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with real hands on experience.
Duties include:
• Accountable for the overall management of a Superdrug store
• Responsible for driving and delivering the store KPIs
• Ensures the store is consistently merchandised to the highest possible standards
• Maximises sales opportunities and promotes the Superdrug brand
• Leads the team in providing our customers with an efficient and professional service.
• Works closely with the Area Manager to ensure the success of the store.
Relevant Skills and Work Experience required
• Relevant retail experience gained in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience of managing or being responsible for a store/department, with accountability or good understanding of core KPI’s, including shrinkage, wages and customer service.
• Accountability or understanding of the store P&L is desirable.
• Experience of managing and developing a team, with proven coaching skills.
• Demonstrates their experience and knowledge surrounding performance management.
• Passion for exceptional service is key, demonstrating ability to work and drive results in an active selling experience.
• Have significant exposure to:
Driving improvements in store standards.
Improving availability and driving sales figures.
Delivering results through others by active coaching and performance improvement.
Building and delivering robust operational business plans.
